I'm turning to the "power of the pack" as Cesar Millan might say. Our efforts have proved somewhat fruitful, but we're in a time crunch. Since time is money, we're definitely willing to pay all costs if someone can assist us today.
We need a scanned and emailed or faxed copy of the following report to Congress by the former Secretary of Health and Human Services, Richard S. Schweiker: Hospital Prospective Payment for Medicare dated 12/27/1982. The report was the first mandated under the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982 (P.L. 97-248, 96 Stat. 324; dispersed throughout Titles 26 and 42 of U.S.C.)
* It's not on Wexis.
* CCH Medicare/Medicaid Online research network is down.
* We don't have it in our CCH Medicare/Medicaid Guide collection of monographs, but you might.
* It wasn't distributed as part of the depository library delivery system. Every depository I've called doesn't seem to have it either.
* OCLC shows 17 libraries around the country which might have it (I'm calling each, but there's that time thing.;>))
If any of you have it, and can help out, I'd greatly appreciate it--and forward payment promptly, of course.
