I didn't post it at the time it happened last fall, but want to share it
with you now since I have been getting the dunning emails and faxes from
West because of a mistake they made.
West changed the mailing address for our Dallas office to a private
residence in Dallas. The poor residents received about $30,000 of our
publications. They didn't lose their sense of humor until about the
third time they called the office. I think they must have refused
delivery after that because I am still chasing things down.
Have never found out why it happened. I am a sitting here going
through the November and December invoices for the third time. I sent
in partial payments on time for the items we had received, but the cards
and letters kept coming from accounts receivable. I have just found
four titles from the November invoice which we have not received and
which are on the latest overdue statement.
Just noticed that the address on the due on November 14, 2006, invoice
still has the private residence's street address on it.
But the address on the statement is correct. Would like to yell at
someone but don't know who.
