Hello everyone,
A law student here is looking for franchise agreements to study. She
needs actual franchise agreements that were really entered into, rather
than sample franchise agreements. I have given her a few leads (trying
to find them as attachments in pleadings contained in Westlaw pleadings
& briefs databases, skimming through the Franchise Law Journal, etc.).
She was told that if she has a way to access Uniform Franchise Offering
Circulars, they would have the franchise agreements included. However,
the only way that I can find to get UFOC's is by purchasing them via
private research or database companies, which is a non-starter for a law
student. Does anyone know of any free or Wexis access to UFOC's? I tried
searching Wexis and poking around the FTC website but had no luck.
Also, if you have any other ideas on ways to find franchise agreements,
I would love to know of them. Thanks so much!
