My guess is it has something to do with Homeland Security and their need
to read and decode all of these messages in their ongoing efforts to
make sure all of the "terrist libarians" are shipped off to Gitmo in one
all-encompassing shipment. Don't bother to pre-prepare your Habeas
petition.
I suppose this comment earns me a spot on the no-fly list, at a minimum.
At least transportation, food, and lodging at the next AALL conference
will be provided courtesy of the Department of Homeland Security. See
you in Gitmo.

I still haven't received Sally's email on this issue, and UC Davis is
just about 3 hours north of me.
I have been noticing the same problem since about Thursday or Friday of
last week.
I blamed it on our IT folks. Now I have to go apologize.
I hate that!

As nightfall does not come all at once, neither does oppression. In both
instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly
unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be aware of
change in the air however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of
the darkness.

I am having this same problem--this morning I got about 15
law-lib e-mails which are dated yesterday afternoon. Is this a law-lib
issue or our network?
Thanks.

Subject: Late Delivery of e-mails
Good Morning-
Recently, I have been receiving a number of law-lib e-mails
a number of hours late and in batches. For example, last night I
received an e-mail that had been sent around noon and I received it
around 7pm. I also received around 7pm a number of other law-lib emails
that had been sent during the afternoon.
Has anyone else been experiencing these delays?
Thanks so much.
