Three specific titles mentioned in response to my inquiry on sweepstakes
laws:
- Promotion Marketing Law, 5th edition (Promotion Marketing Association,
author Dierson) -- 1820-page case-bound book, sold only to PMA members
- Advertising Law Guide (CCH, authors Rose, Freeman) -- looseleaf,
two-volume, updated monthly (also available on CD and via Internet)
- The Law of Advertising (Lexis/Bender, authors Rosden, Rosden) --
looseleaf, four-volume, updated three times a year (also available on
Lexis)
thanks!

Subject: Rosden / sweepstakes law
Is Rosden's The Law of Advertising still considered the preeminent
treatise for issues related to the laws of sweepstakes, lotteries, and
other internet games in each of the 50 U.S. states? Are there other
options? Although Rosden looks great, our needs are quite narrow. I am
hesitant to pay the cost of a 60+ chapter treatise for the purpose of
using a single chapter.
thanks!
