Responsibilities: Provide ready reference and in-depth research
services, both legal and non-legal, to all members of a 210+ attorney
law firm. Participate in daily library updating, maintenance and
cataloging work. Contribute to and manage Intranet content. Provide
research and reference assistance to all practice and administrative
groups. Actively market library services. Participate in knowledge
management activities firm-wide, including development of internal work
product and records management databases. Develop and conduct research
training for all offices Nashville (downtown and Music Row), Memphis,
and Knoxville.

 

Qualifications: Masters Degree in Library Science or equivalent degree
from accredited program with 1 - 3 years of library experience,
preferably in law or business library. Proficiency in searching legal
and non-legal databases. Web design and content management experience
desired, knowledge of Sharepoint and Inmagic products preferred.
Demonstrated commitment to providing superior service. Excellent oral,
writing and presentation skills. Ability to work independently as well
as collaboratively and to handle a diverse and demanding workload.

 

Salary: Low to mid-40s depending on experience. Excellent benefits
include parking allowance.
