Law Librarian - Practice Support Specialist
We are searching for a technology savvy librarian to take on a Practice
Support Specialist position in a large global Information Resource
Center. This position is located in the Washington DC office of this
law firm. The Practice Support Specialist interacts directly with the
attorneys within assigned practice groups in efforts to assess their
technological and information needs, manage practice specific knowledge
and research content and support practice technologies. The librarian
works directly with the Assistant Director to identify current firm and
IRC resources that meet those needs and considers alternative resources
as situations arise. This position serves as a practice group liaison
with a primary focus on marketing IRC services, technologies and
resources, knowledge and content management, and integration of
information resources. Candidates should have their MLS, some library
experience and a minimum of two years of electronic resources or
computer science experience preferably in a library environment. The
