I have 2 suggestions if you can't find a seminar near Florida on the topic
of C.I.:
1. In "The Lawyer's Guide to Fact Finding on the Internet," ABA
(http://www.internetfactfinder.com) I have 2 chapters on C.I. and Biz
Research that you might find helpful (the 3rd edition will be coming out in
a few weeks) .
2. I don't know Diane K. Kovacs (President of Kovacs Consulting - Internet &
Web Training) personally, but I see she is teaching an all-day seminar in
St. Louis on Oct. 10 on the topic of C.I. See
http://www.slml.org/mcmla06/ce_list.php#1. It's in conjunction with the
Midcontinental Med. Lib Assoc. conference, but the info says you don't have
to be a member of MLA to attend. Also, see her website at
http://www.kovacs.com/training.html. She might even offer this course
online.
