Subject: Letters of Request- Japanese Law

I am looking for some guidance from someone more in the know about
sources of foreign law. What I am looking for is a guide to the
enforcement of Letters of Request or Rogatory Letters from a court in
the United States to a Japanese court. How the courts in Japan view or
handle. Japan is not a party to the Hague Convention.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
