This is a proxy question, and I hope this isn't too much off topic.
Do any of you know about any book, seminars, or other such things that
advise on how to avoid working for an abusive manager, or an abusive
employer? That is to say, someone who makes belittling comments, yells
abuse , and allows other employees to verbal abuse each other. Are there
seminars or books listing thing to watch for in the interviewing process
that tell you that your potential employer is a knuckle-dragging cretin?
I'm asking on behalf of a friend, who works for - pardon my language - a
real dickhead.
Any advice would be useful. Thanks in advance.
