Do you cringe at hearing a legal research question about state initiatives or referenda? Are you interested in writing and publishing a research guide that could alleviate that reaction for yourself and for others? Or, are you simply looking for opportunities to publish?
Legal Research Services Quarterly has agreed to publish a special edition containing individual state guides for researching initiatives and referenda. Authors are needed to write I&R research guides about the following states:
Alaska
Arkansas
Colorado
Florida
Idaho
Maine
Massachusetts
Michigan
Mississippi
Missouri
Montana
Nebraska
Nevada
North Dakota
Ohio
Oklahoma
South Dakota
Utah
Wyoming
Please note that it is considerably easier (though certainly not necessary) to conduct this type of research if you reside in or near the state you are writing about.
If you think you may be interested in contributing one or more guides for publication, please contact me off list using the email address in my signature below as soon as possible. Authors will be expected to meet a schedule for writing the article, including submitting a rough draft prior to the final due date.
