Historical research help needed

Anyone feel like helping with a little historical research?

I need to find the following:

Have there been any U.S. laws forbidding blacks and whites from
marrying?

And

Have there been any U.S. laws forbidding women from becoming/being
ministers/pastors?

I've searched Westlaw/Lexis and had no luck. Whether that's because
there's nothing to find or I'm just not searching correctly, I don't
know. All I know is that it's making me tired. :) Anyone got any
ideas?

Thanks in advance for any assistance offered!

Lisa
