This was a request I sent to the list on 24 July.
Although I did not find exactly what the attorney
wanted (I believe he was given a corrupted citation;
but never-mind...), I did receive helpful messages
from Liz Cooper at the DuPage County Law Library (re:
the excellent resources at Northwestern University's
Transportation Library) and Rochelle Maiman at
Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (re: the many
services of the American Society for Quality [ASQ]).
I thanked them both privately, but as someone recently
pointed out; answers to questions on this list need to
be compiled and shared by the recipient.
Thanks again Liz and Rochelle!
Dave C.

attached mail follows:
Hello All,
This message informs you that we need an SAE
publication by the title of "A Study of Heavy Truck
Occupant Crash Protection", SAE, 12 November 1980.
That is the entire citation that I was provided. I
don't know if it's a technical paper, a report, a
book, or what.
I cannot find it anywhere.
Here's what I have tried: SAE Customer Service
(twice); Rogers Science Library at the University of
Alabama; Social Law Library; Google; Walter Schroeder
Library, Milwaukee School of Engineering; OCLC World
Cat, et al.
Most entities have kindly informed me of "821270:
Heavy Truck Occupant Crash Protection, a plan for
investigating ways to improve it", 02/01/1982 (SAE
paper); which I found early-on at SAE's web site, on
my own. That's not the one my requesting attorney
wants.
I suspect a "corrupted" citation, but I do not know
that for a fact.
Lawlib will be my last attempt before throwing in the
towel.
Any ideas / information?
Thank you very much!
Dave C.
