Would some kind soul (preferably with knowledge/experience.<grin>) tell me
the best way to shift our law collection. We have statutes for all 50
states, plus Am Juris, CJS, W&P, USCA, etc. The library wants to have space
between each set but how do you decide how much space to leave. Is there
some sort of math formula used to judge the amount needed by taking into
account the size of the entire set? I really don't want to have to shift
every year (maybe every 3?) so, I want to leave myself enough space, but not
too much.
Also,
The USCA Statutory Supplements spines have a numbering system that I need
some help with. Do I only "need" to keep the current year supplements until
I get the pocket parts or until the number starts over? We do not retain
"out-of-date" materials for this particular set. Is this something that I
need to keep for a certain number of years or does the information get
"worked in" to the pocket parts, updated volumes, etc.?
Thank you in advance. I will anonymously summarize to the list.
