Summers Oil & Gas 3d, Sec. 2.43, makes reference to a PA statute
concerning the "Taking of Oil & Gas by Co-tenant of Land."
Specifically, the discussion refers to:

* 12 P.S. Sec. 1421; and
* Act of April 25, 1850, P.L. 569, 573, Sec. 24

I have not been able to locate these or analogous sections in the
current PS or PCS, nor have I been able to determine whether the
legislation was been repealed or re-codified. Can anyone out there
refer me to a relevant discussion or historical notation on the fate of
12 P.S. Sec. 1421?
