Abbreviation help

A patron came across the following abbreviation at the end of a case from 1927 (Mancusi v. United States), "A.H.M."  I have since found the same abbreviation at the end of a case from the late 1800s in Pennsylvania.  In both cases the abbreviation does not appear to be related to any of the people invovled in the case (not the initials of the judge who authored the opinion, etc.)

I have tried both new and old legal dictionaries with no luck.  Is anyone familiar with what this abbreviation stands for?

Thank you,
Kate Wilko
