I just spotted on today's email alert from Southwest Airlines that St.
Louis is the featured city, with some good airline, hotel and car deals

St. Louis has a huge Fourth of July celebration on the riverfront called
Fair St. Louis (http://www.fairstl.org/). The festivities will continue
though July 15 if anyone is staying for the weekend after the
conference.

India Arie has been on the scene since 2001 and has been described as "a

Last summer, Celebrate St. Louis - a collaboration of downtown civic
organizations produced LIVE on the Levee, a free concert and fireworks
event under the Arch on the St. Louis Riverfront. This summer, the new
combined entity will produce a free summer concert series on the
Riverfront beginning with Fair St. Louis on July 1st & July 4th and
continuing with LIVE on the Levee: July 14 - 15; July 21 - 22; July 28 -
29;
August 4 - 5; and August 11 - 12. Each of the six outdoor festival
weekends will be highlighted by FREE top quality entertainment and
firework displays as well as food and beverages from St. Louis' top
restaurants.
