I have an attorney who needs a copy of the DMV abstract for a client
that lives in CA. The client is currently out of the country so they
can't obtain the record themselves, I've checked Checkpoint but CA is
not one of the states that they include, and the CA DMV website seems to
require that a form be completed and mailed to them??? The attorney
needs this information now, of course. Would someone please enlighten
me on the procedures necessary to acquire this information from the DMV?
I'm hoping there is a way to do this on-line. TIA
