Our campus has set up a remote proxy server. All of the library webpages
have an "Off-Campus Access" link that leads users to a UW NetID logon
page. Users type in the same username and password that they use for their
University of Washington email, and that gives them hours of access to all
of the subscription databases the campus libraries provide. This process
gives remote users a University of Washington IP address for the duration
of their research session.
