Yesterday RLG's President Jim Michalko wrote to all Member Representatives
to inform them about an agreement between RLG's Board of Directors and
OCLC's Board of Trustees to combine forces. The proposal to unite will
need to be approved by the RLG Membership. RLG program officers and senior
staff will be communicating with the membership in a variety of ways in the
coming weeks.
RLG Member Representatives will be contacted by a member of our Board of
Directors or a senior staff member, providing them with opportunities to
discuss the proposal in detail.
