Subject: Asian Legal Periodicals
Hello Law-Libsters,
My library is attempting to beef up our holdings in the area of serialized
publications about Asian legal and business matters generally, and
publications specific to China and Taiwan in particular. We prefer the
publications be in English.
My question is for any librarian who deals with this kind of information
regularly. What are the essential publications that we should be subscribing
to? Are there web based databases that aggrigate this kind of material (free
or fee)? And can anyone direct me to a bibliography that will help me
identify which resources are available and make subscription recommendations
to my superiors? I've been looking, but I've had no luck finding a
bibliography and it's difficult to judge publications by their presentation
on their webpages (or is that books and covers?) especially since some are
English translations of Asian language publications. I really want to know
which resources your attorneys are reading?
Advice or recommendations will be gratefully accepted.
