Librarian
Manages information resources and library operations. Performs legal,
business, and client development research for attorneys, clients, and
the firm. Provides training for electronic resources and cost effective
computer-assisted legal research. Collaborates on library initiatives
and services with firm wide library staff. Participates in Knowledge
Management projects. Maintains awareness of emerging trends in
technology, reference services, and librarianship. Promotes information
resources and services. Supervises technical services work and staff.
The ideal candidate will be service and detail oriented, have an ability
to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, and work in a fast paced
environment. MLS and 3-4 years of law library experience required.
Strong computer skills and a basic understanding of cataloging needed.
Expertise in online searching using Lexis, Westlaw, Dialog, and other
research platforms required. Experience with tax, labor, financial
restructuring, federal and state court litigation, business, finance,
and securities research preferred. Exempt position.
Position located in our Manhattan office.
