Subject: [AALSMIN-L] SEEKING CO-WRITER

Dear friends,

Rights & Democracy is currently seeking a co-writer to
assist us in developing a manual and training curriculum
for establishing "community-based libraries" with a human
rights resource focus, in the Middle East, for the project
Ideaccess (see www.ideaccess.org). We are looking for
someone with knowledge about libraries, information
dissemination and access, and human rights and social
justice resources, and particularly for someone with
experience in the Middle East region. This is preferably
someone from the region, with Arabic language proficiency,
or who has lived or worked there for an extended period of
time. The person would be engaged as a consultant, would
work with us over the summer, and would be expected to
come to Montreal at the end of May 2006 for 2-3 days. This
is a short-term, part-time contract which would be
expected to be completed by Aug 1, 2006. The person can be
based anywhere.

Please send CVs and cover letters to: loates@dd-rd.ca

Thank you for your help and we look forward to hearing
from candidates.
