Does your law firm have a policy on vendor promotions that link usage of
a database or service with rewards such as a personal gift card? Today
many of us received an e-mail that states that if you use Courtlink
Document Retrieval Service before April 30, you can get a $10 gift card
good at Regal Cinemas, Barnes & Noble, or Starbucks. Other vendors have
used this promotion too. This is just the latest and it prompted my
question. I will summarize responses for the list (anonymously, of
