Dear all:
I have been asked to give a CLE talk on the Freedom of Information Act.
At the same time, I am working on a book about finding legal
information. In order to work on both of these projects, I am soliciting
examples of times when a FOIA request may be useful.
I am particularly interested in reasons why state or local offials might
wish to file a FOIA request with federal agencies. I am also interested
in creative or "non-traditional" uses of FOIA requests. I will gladly
give credit in my book (obviously, a CLE seminar doesn't allow for me to
cite sources for every sentance).
Thank you very much for your assistance.
