In about three weeks, AIIP (http:www.aiip.org) will hold it's 20th Annual
Conference in Coral Gables, Florida. Yours truly (an AIIP Board member)
will be giving a pre-conference seminar "How to Find Clients", geared toward
independent information professionals (IIPs), information brokers, and
applicable to fee-based research services in libraries. The AIIP Conference
Program planners have lined up some great sessions

anyone interested in going independent, or working with an IIP to attend and
learn more. Some of our members come from law librarianship and some of the
work I do is geared toward supporting law librarians. Please email me if
