The Research Librarian is responsible for providing both on-site and remote reference services to attorneys and staff of a growing international law firm. The librarian will work with colleagues throughout the firm, using traditional and online resources to respond to these requests.
The duties of this position include:
Conducts legal and business research, including online searching and document delivery for attorneys, paralegals and staff throughout all offices of the firm. Maintains and updates, as needed, the computer skills to perform research in the following systems, at a minimum: Dialog, Factiva, LivEdgar, Dun & Bradstreet, Internet/World Wide Web, Lexis, Westlaw. Checks in and routes library subscriptions; maintains library's hardcopy collection; supervises looseleaf filing service.
