Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Legal Research Training
Administrator to join their Washington, DC library team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and
implementing strategies, programs and materials to enhance lawyers
knowledge of legal research techniques and resources. Develop and
implement research training programs for administrative personnel
including legal assistants, conflicts, business development and
secretaries. Coordinate activities with other members of research
training team and interested legal and administrative departments.
The successful candidate will possess:
* Expert level knowledge of Lexis and Westlaw.
* Expert level knowledge of standard print legal research
materials.
* Proficient in use of several of the following systems: Dialog,
Bloomberg, CourtLink, Factiva and able to master all research systems
used at the firm.
* Proficient in conducting Internet research and assessing the
quality of results.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* MLS and/or JD
