Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help. I have a request to find the US News and
World Report law school rankings from 1980, 1985 and 1990.
I have found the "Best Graduate Schools" a/k/a "America's Best Graduate
Schools" which I would call a special issue which includes these rankings.
However, from what I can tell
this special issue only started in 1998.
I am also suspecting, from the scanty info I have located, that graduate
school rankings
originally appeared as a special report in an issue of U.S. News and World
Report (main magazine). However, from what I understand U.S. News only
started ranking Graduate Schools (including law schools?) in 1990.
I'd love to know:
1. Am I correct with these dates?
2. What did people do for rankings prior to 1990? Was there a publication
that used to do rankings (in a different or limited form) that has fallen
out of favor or is no longer published etc.?
Any info. you can provide me with would be most appreciated.
