A few weeks ago I gave a talk to a crowded room of mostly public librarians about pro se patrons, UPL issues, service guidelines and ethics. They were of the opinion that the number of pro se library users has increased over the years. Now I am wondering if those engaged in virtual reference or "Q and A" are getting an increase in legal questions. I lack practical experience with virtual reference. Are law libraries doing this? Are the issues the same as with our public library colleagues? Any information would be helpful.
thanks
