I am trying to find where a California act from 1862 is currently
codified in the California Code. I've tried checking the historical
notes in the annotated code via Wexis, I've Shepardized, Keycited,
looked at case law references, called the reference attorneys at both
Westlaw and Lexis, etc. It is probably something obvious but I'm not
finding it, so I throw myself on the mercy of the list...
I am trying to find the Act of 1862, sec. 11 (as cited in 144 Cal. 219).
It is also cited as 1862 Cal. Stat. 200. My attorney wants to know where
this act is currently codified.
Any pointers on where to look would be appreciated. Thanks.
