We are considering circulating laptops to faculty and staff from the circulation desk. We are trying to educate ourselves on the subject. Can you please answer the questions below:

Do you circulate laptops from the circulation desk?

If so, do you use your online system to circulate them or a manual system?

If not, does another department handle the circulation of them? What department?

What patron groups do they circulate to?

If laptops circulate, do you charge fines? If so, what is the fine structure?

Do you use a "booking system" to reserve the laptops or is it done on a first come first serve basis?

What is the loan period with renewals?

Do you send out automatic overdue notices?

Who is responsible for cleaning the files on the laptop after each use?

Please respond to me personally. Let me know if you're interested in a summary of the responses. Thank you for your assistance!
