I don't know anything about Faulkner U but I do know about another Church of Christ Law School--Pepperdine.

I was hired as a Reference Librarian at Pepperdine (1985-89) despite not being of the Christian faith and I was treated very well.

I also personally know the Dean of Faulkner (Charles Nelson). He was at Pepperdine when I worked there and he is one of the nicest and open-minded people I know. I last saw Charles Nelson when he graciously accepted my invitation to officiate at a fellow law librarian's (Mona Stahl) memorial service about a year ago. He is a true friend to law librarians.

You say, for example that the University welcomes applicants who "share a commitment to the Christian faith." Would you welcome a lesbian or gay applicant who shares that commitment?
