IP QUESTION // HAS A PATENT BEEN CHALLENGED? ...There is no comprehensive
way to search this, but Courtlink has search functionality that will allow
you to search on a patent number and retrieve court dockets of cases in
which the patent was at issue, you can Shepardize patents, and I understand
(though I have not previously tried this) that Derwent's LitAlert database
also will help identify patent related litigation.

Subject: IP QUESTION // HAS A PATENT BEEN CHALLENGED? ...
Libbers --
I have a list of patent numbers, together with their assignee, and
the assignment to determine if the patents have been or are the subject of
any litigation, settled or ongoing. I am supremely confident there is a
quick electronic way to do this, and yet simultaneously clueless. Cany
anyone recommend a database that will give me my answers? Thanks.
