Thanks to all the replies, which confirmed my suspicion that in fact there
is no way around the lengthy timetable presented by the SEC's byzantine
certification procedures. At least I can now tell this to the paralegal
with some authority. From what I've heard, we should be thrilled if it
takes only two weeks.

We need to get a few copies of certified 10Ks. The usual document delivery
firms we use say this will take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks, because, while
they can retrieve the 10Ks right away, they have to send them to the SEC to
be certified, which will take all the extra time. Does anyone know of a
faster way to do this?
