The Los Angeles County Law Library is accepting
applications for the
position of Access Services Librarian. DUTIES: Under
general direction of
the Assistant Director for Public Services, the Access
Services Librarian
is responsible for supervising and managing daily
operations of
circulation, media, stack maintenance, interlibrary loan, and
document
delivery units. Some Saturday and rotating holiday work
required.
QUALIFICATIONS: ALA accredited MLS. Three (3) years
of increasingly
responsible experience in public services as a professional
librarian,
including working knowledge of library automation systems,
especially
circulation modules. Demonstrated managerial ability.
Strong public
services orientation and commitment. SALARY: $4,600-
$6,002/month.
