Hi Everyone,
The usual apologies for cross-posting.
I am writing on behalf of the Conference of Law Library Educators (COLLE), a small group that meets once a year
at the AALL Annual Meeting. Our annual in-person meeting, plus communications thoughout the year, provide a
forum for librarians and others who teach law librarianship and legal research courses in graduate schools of library
and information science. See http://lib.law.washington.edu/colle/
A frequent topic of discussion is the recruitment of people into our profession. One way to encourage future librarians
to consider law librarianship is to offer to have them work with us while doing an internship / practicum / fieldwork experience.
We would like to compile a list of law libraries that will host students and post the list to our site.
If your library (public, academic, law firm or special) is willing to host a student, please contact me DIRECTLY (off list)
and I will include your library in our posting. Please be sure to include the name of a contact person. Thanks much!
