Try the Wayback Machine at the Internet Archive:

http://www.archive.org/

It won't work for every bad link but it can be a life-saver. It generally
does not include sites from within the last six months, proprietary or
passworded sites, dynamically generated pages, etc.

Certainly worth a try!
