I have been asked by our Marketing Department to monitor major newspapers,
including the WSJ and NYT on about fifty companies. I know about Lexis
Intranet Publisher, West's Intraclips and NewsEdge. But as they want one
E-Mail listing each company with links to the articles, I don't think these
will work. I know I can use Westlaw or Lexis and cut and paste links into
an E-Mail. We'd have to use passwords that are IP authentication so that
they could open the links.
I could also use a combination of Google News Alert and manually search the
NYT and WSJ websites every day. I'm hoping to find some service that will
allow us to post the links without a lot of intervention by the library
staff.
