I just wrote a short blurb for my ABA newsletter, "The Lawyer's Guide
to Fact Finding on the Internet" about how to find CRS reports using a
new site created by the University of Maryland Thurgood Marshall Law
Library. I thought I might find your reports there, but I didn't. (As
you probably know, not all reports are on the web--because CRS is not
mandated to make them available to the public.)
However, by reading a comprehensive article about CRS reports at LLRX
(http://www.llrx.com/features/crsreports.htm#crs), I was able to find a
site (http://zfacts.com/p/576.html ) that helped me find one of the
reports that you were searching for -- "The Fair Labor Standards Act:
analysis of economic issues in the debates of 1937-1938" (Report
#89-568).
Go to http://zfacts.com/p/576.html and do a keyword search for the Fair
Labor Standards CRS report--you will be lead to info about the report at
Pennyhill.com (see at http://www.pennyhill.com/labor/89-568e.html).
You can purchase the report there. The price varies: $7.95
(subscribers), $29.95 (non-subscribers) or $19.95 (students), plus
postage. Each additional same-day order by non-subscribers is offered at
50% off.
