A "Bummed not to be in Boston, but can't beat San Francisco as second
choice" social gathering for the OTHER Bay Area librarians on the Left
Coast.
For any law librarians (et al), who will be in the Bay Area (California's
Bay Area, NOT Boston's Back Bay) on Sunday, July 11th, please join us for a
small just-for-fun gathering at Golden Gate Park (thank you Robert for the
suggestion!). We're pretty sure we'll meet at the Beach Chalet Brewery and
Restaurant (and I hear parking is not a huge problem)
(www.beachchalet.com/). As of now, the plans are to meet around 2:30 in the
afternoon (this is flexible so let me know if you want this to be earlier or
later.)
We'll probably hang out for a couple hours - at least late enough to make a
toast to the AALL Boston Back Bay law librarians, who may already be
staggering under the weight of their conference bags and exhibit hall
goodies by 5 or 6 pm PST.
If meeting place or time change, I'll know before July 7th and will post to
the list.
