TITLE: Cataloger/Bibliographic Control Coordinator

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates and maintains bibliographic records for all formats of library
materials using AACR2, LC classification schedules and LCSH. Supervises
Bibliographic control staff and coordinates all bibliographic control
activities including the check-in of all formats of library materials.
Assists in maintaining and updating the integrated library system, in
providing reference services to all library user groups during assigned
Reference Desk hours and in mediating interlibrary loan requests.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
MLS from an ALA- accredited library school. Minimum of 5 years experience
in Technical Services. Demonstrated knowledge of cataloging tools and
procedures and the use of OCLC. Must be service oriented and have ability
to work independently as well as with others in a team environment.
 
SALARY:

High $40's to low 50's, dependent on qualifications
