JOB OPENING
 
 
 

TITLE: Faculty Services Librarian

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides liaison services to faculty members by assisting them with
reference and research needs including developing on-line support and
working with their research assistants. Provides reference services to
other library users groups: law students, University community, legal
community and general public during assigned Reference Desk hours.
Participates in collection development. Assists with formal and informal
instruction of legal bibliography and research programs implemented by the
Law Library by preparing or contributing to bibliographies, research guides
and design of web pages.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
JD from and accredited ABA-approved law school and MLS required.
Demonstrated knowledge of traditional legal research methods and legal
reference work. Knowledge of all forms of information technology used in
legal research and law school instruction. Strong leadership and
communications skills. Must be service oriented and have ability to work
independently as well as with others in a team environment.
 
SALARY:

High $40's
