ATTENTION NEWER ACADEMIC LAW LIBRARIANS GOING TO BOSTON!
The Academic Law Librarians SIS Mentoring/CONALL committee is once again
sponsoring the Convocation of Newer Law Librarians (CONALL) taking place
between 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13th in Harvard's Pound
Hall, Room 101. Newer academic law librarians, please mark your calendars
for this short program intended to help you learn more about academic law
librarianship. CONALL (not to be confused with CONELL, the pre-conference
meeting for AALL) is conveniently held right before the ALL-SIS Reception
and Awards Ceremony taking place at Harvard Law School Library, in Langdell
Hall very close to Pound Hall. Come and meet your fellow academic law
librarians and watch members of the committee wow you with their acting
skills (don't worry, we have no plans to quit our day jobs!) with a skit
portraying aspects of working within the legal academy. Through the
generosity of BNA, Inc., the underwriter of CONALL, bus service is provided
to Harvard for the event. CONALL attendees may load the buses (marked BNA)
starting at 4:15 p.m. at the Sheraton Boston, Dalton Street entrance and
will make return trips to the hotel following the reception. Looking
forward to seeing you in Boston!
