Would any of you like to get together for an informal law (non-law too)
librarian gathering on Sunday afternoon, July 11th, somewhere in the Bay
Area? My ("digital" librarian) sister, Chris Orr, and I thought it would be
fun to meet face to face with some people we know only online.
Email me off list. If there is enough interest, we'll pick a place and
time. Suggestions welcome! Sinbad's is a possibility (any excuse for a
ferry ride for me) but East Bay not out of the question at all. Chris said
it seemed to work well for the SLA gathering last month and it really is a
great location.
If we do end up meeting, I'll post a message to law-lib in early July about
where and when.
This is a social gathering, though after just seeing Calendar Girls I can't
totally promise not to suggest we do a fundraising calendar :-)
