Thanks to June McLeod of THOMAS JEFFERSON SCHOOL OF LAW and Tony Medina
of Westlaw in Seattle. The quote is the final line in a 1999 article by
the Rev. DALE TURNER, a Seattle Times Columnist.
Still not clear whether the quote originated with him, but it may help
my patron nonetheless. More leads are welcome.

It is not so much what we achieve but what we become that determines the
worth of our lives.
Is this an adage? I have checked Bartletts and other sources, as well
as google. Any leads appreciated.
