Advocacy Workshop Announcement

From: LeDoux, Elizabeth (eledoux@cov.com)
Date: Mon May 17 2004 - 13:30:24 PDT

Please join the Washington Affairs Office, the Government Relations
Committee and a room full of law librarians for the very exciting
Advocacy Workshop. Normally an every other year event, the AALL
Executive Board has blessed us with an off-year Advocacy Workshop. This
is a great opportunity to learn advocacy skills, to network with other
active librarians and to make a difference for our profession and for
access to government information on every level.

This half day workshop is being held on the Saturday before the annual
meeting, and will focus on state law library funding issues (though all
kinds of advocacy issues will be covered). It is not too late to sign
up. Please contact Mary Alice Baish at baish@law.georgetown.edu. A
copy of the agenda is included below. We look forward to seeing you
there!
