BNA Books has asked the CRIV to post this notice regarding a correction to
the Sixth Edition of How Arbitration Works.
"BNA Books would like to alert customers to a substantive error in the new
Sixth Edition of Elkouri & Elkouri: How Arbitration Works. The
Editor-in-Chief, Professor Alan Miles Ruben, calls attention to the fact
that the statement on page 1266 (in Chapter 19) that some states have
declined to
extend Weingarten rights to public employees is incorrect. He has provided
the appropriate correction.
A corrected page 1266 is available on the BNA Books web site,
www.bnabooks.com, on the page for Elkouri & Elkouri: How Arbitration Works,
under the "Errata" link. On the corrected page, the following changes have
been made: In the second full paragraph on page 1266 of the printed book,
the
second and third sentences have been deleted, along with associated
footnotes 104-107; this material has been replaced on the corrected page by
two new sentences and new footnotes 104-107c. Customers should print out
this replacement page and insert it into their copy of the treatise at p.
1266.
