Thomson West has asked CRIV to post this response to an earlier listserv
message regarding a correction to the California Rules of Court-Federal.
"West appreciates the opportunity to clarify for customers the inadvertent
omission of material from the 2004 California Rules of Court--Federal
publication and the April 2004 sticky back supplement.
A sticky back supplement was shipped in April to standing order customers
allowing inclusion of both the corrected court rules and new court rule
changes that were received following the cut-off for the December 2003
pamphlet. Unfortunately, the April sticky back supplement was missing
amendments to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. To correct this error, a
complimentary, replacement sticky back supplement will be shipped to
customers in May 2004, integrating content from the April supplement and all
Court Rule changes received through May 1, 2004. An audit procedure has been
put in place that will prevent future occurrences of this issue.
West will be sending the May Federal sticky supplement to all customers that
purchased this product but were not put on subscription from September 1,
2003, to present.
