Odd question

I am looking for a definition of a "paddock study". I am told by the
attorney that this is a term of art used in pharmaceutical research. I
have checked online, articles, and a variety of medical dictionaries.

Can anyone point me to a source, or tell me if the term he gave me is
misspelled?

Many thanks!
